MONTHLY FOOD DRIVE Remember, the first Sunday of the month is our food drive for Loaves & Fishes Ministry. We also have boxes in the lobbies to collect food anytime for The Storehouse.
COUNSELORS’ TRAINING The Counseling Department will hold their annual “Spring Training” classes on Saturdays starting February 4 and ending March 24. Classes will be in room 1111 from 9 – 11 AM. Chuck McConkey will be teaching from the Counseling Manual and from the book “Crisis and Trauma Counseling” by Dr. H. Norman Wright. There is no charge for the training but we do ask that you call or email the Counseling Center to pre-register.
BUSINESS LEADERS’ BREAKFAST Richard Foster will be the guest speaker for the Business Leaders’ Breakfast Thursday, February 9, 7:00 AM in the Chapel. The cost is $10, payable at the door.
Richard’s background includes ten years as one of the top commercial photographers in the country. His fine art photography has been exhibited at Focus Gallery in San Francisco and at a one man show in Chicago. He was one of the founders of the prestigious Advertising Photographers of America, for which he served as its first president in Chicago. Richard began designing and directing film projects and served as a member of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers. Over the years he has garnered over seventy major national awards at film and television festivals. He is in post-production for a film he recently shot in the Tulsa area, scheduled to be released this Christmas. Richard wants to encourage you to never give up on your dreams!
FINANCIAL SEMINAR “Prosperity With Purpose” John Ransdell Ministries will hold a six-week seminar series at Grace on Sundays at 10:00 AM beginning February 12. The seminar will teach you how to apply God’s financial principles to everyday decisions and help you develop a plan that leads to financial success. The cost is $30.00 for the materials you’ll be using in class. Please register in the main lobby.

MINISTERS CONFERENCE The 2012 conference will open Tuesday evening, February 28, with Pastor Bob speaking. Rick Renner will minister Wednesday night and John Bevere will speak Thursday night with Laura Cooke leading praise and worship. The evening sessions are open to the public. Registration for the day sessions is available on our website.
HELP NEEDED We need hosts and hostesses for the day sessions (Wednesday - Thursday) of the conference. If you would like to help, please contact Gwen at ext. 5201, or sign up in the main lobby.
BRUNCH @ CHURCH The Children and Youth Ministries are coming together to host the 2nd Annual Brunch @ Church fundraiser Sunday, February 26, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM in the Edge Auditorium. Tickets are $10 ($5 for children 3 – 10) and can be purchased at the iBooth. The proceeds will go toward some much needed updating for both the Children’s and Edge buildings.
YOUTH Since February 5 is Super Bowl Sunday, we are moving our Fusion activity to February 12, 6:00 - 8:00 PM. We’re calling it “Marshmallow Mania.” Bring a marshmallow snack food to share and be ready for some fun games. February 26, we are joining up with the Children’s Ministry on the fundraiser brunch (see above).
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY Rich and Teya have been plowing and planting in the children’s ministry and “Someone” has definitely watered because our second service classes are growing like crazy! Growth like this brings great opportunities for getting involved. Come be one of our Team Ministers who are helping to lay a solid foundation and shape the destiny of your children at Grace Church. BABY SWINGS NEEDED The eight baby swings in the newborn-12 month old class need to be replaced. If you would like to donate a gently used swing, purchase a new one or give toward the purchasing of one, please contact Rich Selleck at ext. 5087.
