A church family “does life” together - from welcoming a new baby to celebrating a loved one’s home-going.
We believe children are a gift from God and we’re happy that you are considering having your baby dedicated to the Lord. Baby dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family that you desire to spiritually nurture your child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, and according to Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
The Baby Dedication service is held the second Sunday of each month during the service. There is a limited space on the number of infants dedicated; reservations should be made by calling the Pastor’s secretary no later than the Thursday prior to the dedication Sunday. Babies newborn to twelve months are dedicated in the service. Older children may be dedicated in a private service by making arrangements with the Pastor’s secretary.
Grace Church is available, through our Pastoral Care Department, to assist members and visitors or their families in the event of a death. Please contact the church office or the Emergency Phone Counselors (after office hours and weekends). They will contact the Director of Pastoral Care who will be immediately available to assist in this time of crisis.
Healing Rooms is a ministry in which trained Grace volunteers pray for the sick and God's power touches them. Everyone is welcome and sessions are free. No appointment necessary. Come by yourself or bring a friend who needs healing for any condition - physical, emotional or spiritual. Healing Rooms@Grace Church is open the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, from 7 - 9 PM. Enter the main lobby of the north building and turn left.
The Pastoral Care Department offers hospital ministry to members, family, and friends. We have trained and dedicated volunteers who visit the area hospitals each weekday. Our desire is to comfort and encourage those who are facing health issues, pray for God's healing grace, and stand with the family during difficult times.
If you, a family member, or a friend desires a visit, please contact the church. Our church staff and hospital ministers will be available. After business hours our Emergency Phone Counselors will contact a staff minister to assist you, either through praying with you, or making a hospital visit.
Please be aware that Government Health Care laws require that we have permission from the patient or a family member in order to visit.
Congratulations on your engagement! We believe marriage is a covenant intended by God to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If you wish to be married at Grace, or be married by one of our staff ministers, you must receive pre-marital counseling prior to booking your wedding date. Your wedding is a special time and our wedding coordinator will make sure every detail of your ceremony is complete.
